My insider said they loved him. So much of this is PR and selling tickets (check out the rams coach regarding them picking a WB). He’d have gone in the first round had he not stayed back to try and win a championship. This entire class has been stained by their season performance.

Also, the school spent a lot last year retaining very good players that could have gone to the NFL. This year, not so much.

The university can be a huge part of education, beyond the classroom. It is probably why going to college has gotten our of control. I have a reunion with my old college mates in June for a week. I was just lucky that I fell into a group of people that took their education's seriously.
