In over 55 years of rooting for my two favorite football teams……Penn State and the Steelers…..there has been a total of six coaches. Only three coaches each.
Paterno. O’Brien. Franklin.
Knoll. Cowher. Tomlin.
Pretty amazing in this time of revolving door coaching. I doubt no other pair of college/pro team comes even close. In any sport.
And yes nit pickers…..I left out Scraps who was a temporary, one game, fill in coach.
