Petitti starts things off yesterday talking about College playoff format and that he sent a letter advocating scUM get no further penalties - what a joke!!

In light of Locksleys comments about losing the team over NIL, one has to wonder/give credit? to Day for how he’s managed it and stayed at the top.

Saw a headline saying that Day froze when asked about how to stop their losing streak to Michigan.

He made a point of saying he didn't like the media scrum being in Vegas. He said that many beat reporters (many who are now independent, given layoffs in the industry) couldn't afford to fly to Vegas and stay at Mandalay Bay. They could drive to Chicago or Indy. he also said it is missing a vibe, like people getting autographs from players and coaches. There isn't even signage. All great points.

Secondly, I watched the 60-minute B1G recap of the PSU/USC game last year. Hudson had a really good game with four receptions for 36 yards. He is supposed to be a very good blocker as well. He was a team captain. Looked like he got hurt late in the game after making a key catch on their last drive when the kicker missed the game winning FG. He led USC in receptions against rival UCLA with 6 for 72 yards. he looked like he was really good finding soft spots against zone and is really strong fighting off pysical press coverage.

Here is a scouting report I read that is getting me excited to see him play for us.

One of the strongest receivers (6-1, 210) in the country who can bully opposing corners. Has a thick upper body and is tough to press or redirect. Can get to his spots and uses his size and strength to create separation. Has very good hands and does a nice job catching the ball through contact. Isn’t a burner and needs to continue to work on his burst and long speed. Does run well after the catch and is a very polished route runner as well. Competes hard, is a willing blocker and brings a tough guy element to the football field. Projects as a impact upper tier Power 5 starter and future mid-late round NFL draft pick.

I am actually thrilled to hear this from Drew. I really hate we lost Wallace because he's a good WR; he just isn't a WR1 (yet).

Hears to Howard being so goof that they can't not play him!
We truly need a young WR or 2 to step up. Howard seems to be the most ready. I really like Samuel as well but the staff may feel that he may need to add weight.
