I want to keep the board kind of tidy and safe for work. The prime focus is PSU sports talk. Threads in those groups that don't fit will be moved. I've moved a few already to the new "Mature Themes" area. I'll look into whether I can hide that for people who don't want to see it. I had one question about nudity. I think 91Joe95's sig pic is kind of borderline. I'll allow it in the thread. I've moved his thread and the Horse racing gambling thread to the new Mature Themes board. I'm not editing content. I'd prefer that the sig pic be smaller or better yet perhaps a thumbnail with just shoulders up and the ability to enlarge for those so inclined. For people who don't want to see sig pics there is an option to remove them in your user preferences. I'd prefer members to self-police so that isn't necessary. I've had a complaint about a post from a user who allegedly spammed the other board. There are several tools to deal with that, but at this point I'm not taking action unless I have multiple complaints. Let me know your thoughts.

Awesome. I was thinking about this. You are going to have to be very mindful as to what is a "board" and what is a "thread". Speaking for me, I like the main of football board to include things like opinions of streamed entertainment, associated sports (MLB, NHL, NBA), science news, and other interesting news. I also like it when people as for advice (vacation locations, fix-it, cars). For example, I am not sure "Obits" deserves its own board. Typically, a death is topical, and the thread only lasts a day or two. Often it contains tributes. I do agree with the "mature themes" as I suspect many use their work computer. My company uses a VPN, and if they detect off color content, they'll lock out access to the site.
I also think having too many boards will create friction for the casual, once-a-day or week, visitor who just wants to check to see what is going on in the world of PSU.
But, generally, I agree with what you are doing.
You have a few people here stalking, hijacking usernames from other sites ,, making up more than one name. I'm sure you are aware of them.

look at this .. johnjumba/joeaubie/joejohn, who adds nothing substantive to any board of which he’s a part, and only runs around yelling about poop, making homophobic slurs, making ee-e noises or falsely/randomly accusing everyone of being Pitt fans, or the same person … is also a rat. A troll and a rat?
