Can anyone make heads or tails of the PIAA ruling on PSU commit Kahlil Taylor

So admittingly I don't know the details of his transfer but how does the PIAA come up with him being eligible for the regular season but ineligible for the playoffs? I say make heads or tails of it because it feels like PIAA simply flipped coins on his eligibility.

They did this to another recruit last year or the year before (one that ended up coming here I believe). Believe it was a kid who transferred to Imhotep but not positive.

I don't know enough about PA HS fb to know for sure, but a lot of these rules are in an attempt to limit "recruiting". It's gotten to the point that in my area (Southwest Virginia), we had a girl ruled ineligible because her school didn't end up fielding a team in the sport and her parent (who worked at another school in thr area) transferred her to the 2nd school only to be ruled ineligible for basketball or track and field (not sure which sport it was, might have been both).
