MLB pennant races. Yankees and Blue Jays are tied as are Cleveland and Detroit. This weekend decides it.

CFB: LSU @ Miss, OSU @ Wash, Ala @ Ga, Oregon @ PSU

NFL: Highlight game is Ravens @ Chiefs

PGA: Ryder Cup

WNBA: Semis (yawn)

My wife wanted to go to the rivah house this weekend, and I told her, that was fine, but I was watching sports all day. She decided to stay home, and I am taking her to an early dinner, and we'll be home by 8.

As much as sitting in front of the TV and enjoying the stellar weekend of games and golf will be, I almost closed on 45 yard line tickets to the white out. Was golfing (with phone on silent) and got a text from a friend that's going that got a text from someone in their group of old friends that sit together that got sick and wanted to find someone to go. I responded (but not immediately.....), still thinking we were going, but they had already had an earlier response.
