Frost Takes Shot At Nebraska

"strength training" (ahem pharmacist) and they were very early adopters of the "pay the players to come here" strategy. How do you think they had all those key players from So Cal, Jersey and Texas? Those guys did not go to Lincoln for the corn fritters
Maybe the hot women from Lincoln.

You are somewhat correct. But many of the Husker linemen were from Lincoln and Omaha and the suburbs of Omaha. One of my favorite Huskers
was Rob Zatechka, the starting left tackle on the 1994 Championship team. He gave me his autograph at the Giants camps in Albany, N.Y. in 1996. He was about 6'4 320 at the time. I have never seen a human being with arms as big as his. Yet he was a top student and is a now an anesthesiologist.
He turned down a Rhodes Scholarship because he wanted to get married.

I am including these links only because our board might appreciate them.

Cam Jurgins the Eagle All-Pro center was an actual Nebraska farmboy.
