Inflation back to 2.7% (still 10% lower than JAN2025)

Actually kind of surprised inflation didn't tick higher given the unsettledness of the world right now particularly with what happened in Iran.
True, but that kind of shut down pretty quickly. It could have been much worse in that region and thus much higher energy costs. As it is, without further flair ups, I think energy costs will be way down by winter. OPEC has increased production a couple of times now.

My biggest concern is that Iran decides to be a bitch and closes down the Strait of Hormuz. It'd be biting off your nose to spite your face for them, but then again sanity isn't exactly an enduring trait for them.

The idiom is "cutting off your nose to spite your face," not "biting off your nose to spite your face."

Good lord.

What kind of a jacked up face do you have where you can bite off your own nose?
