Katron vs Singleton article....

Right now it seems Katron looks like an NFL RB, where as Nick doesn't seem to. I'm rooting hard for Nick to get it together, but right now Katron needs to lead the runing game vs the ducks.....

This has been the case for over a year now.
Singleton still breaks long runs, but a rb needs to get consistent yards.

Wish my posts from Rivals from last year were still around.

On the article title... Kaytron hopefully was being rested for this weekend.

Nick, at this point, should emulate Kaytron. Just explode through the first opening and get five yards. If 15 yards looks doable, then go for it. Twist, turn, and drive the legs upon contact, but no bouncing, waiting, or lateral running looking for the home run.

Katron is clearly the better back right now …he’s playing at a higher level. That said, I have zero concern that Nick will eventually work himself out of this “vapor lock”. —I think Franklin is right, Singleton should just “ let loose” and stop ( apparently) overthinking

I agree. I get the feeling that AK has used these three games as a pre-season. I watched the game last night and feel like the offense ran plays as practice, not to exploit what Villanova was giving. For example, there were several long throws to WRs that were well covered. I don't know enough about blocking schemes to say much about how the running game was blocked. But other than Allar showing some frustration missing short throws, I don't sense any panic or confusion on the sideline or in the huddle.

They need to continue doing what they’re doing. Nick is just fine.

Opinions vary.

Nick has not been running hard and not breaking tackles. If he continues his current style the remainder of the season he won't be drafted high.

The RB from Missouri, Hardy, breaks tackles every carry and is the type of RB the NFL loves.

No dancing. Find the best hole in under a second and hit it. Three yards is better than minus one. Odds are that there will be some long runs at the end of the day.
