Lawsuit could result in Drew or Kaytron coming back next year.

Lawsuit could grant every player five years of playing instead of four. And NIL being do high that some top players could take that option.

If Drew’s injury and lackluster play this year result in him slipping down the draft he could play another year. Here or somewhere.

And Kaytron doesn’t hsve ghe speed that pro scouts lust for do his draft spot is questionable.

Maybe others like o linemen. DDS.

Why would Kaytron return? He's ready for the pros. If Drew decides to not enter the draft I think he would head elsewhere. Drew spoke highly of CJF. It's time at PSU for a new QB. Drew had his opportunities.

Because he has a poor 40 time which will hurt him in the draft. And going low in the draft means he would be paid less than college NIL money.

Agreed. Other programs could use Drew's experience and would know how to better use him. Have him call Coach Dilly at ASU. And I'm not sure Kaytron would need great speed to succeed in the NFL if he could just get to the hole fast and grind out five yards.

If Drew gaining another year of eligibility, I think he should play somewhere else. I think a change woukd be beneficial for him. I also think it would be in PSU's interests. I think he is a good kid and gave it his best here.

For Kaytron, his draft status is not going to get better. I understand the point about NIL may provide him more money than he would make in rhe pros. If he ends up getting an extra year I would love for it to be at PSU

Nothing but unfounded rumors. He runs right around a 4.5/40. That's average for the NFL. Look up Emmitt Smith. Kaytron will have a long productive career in the NFL

Pro scouting outfit called PlayerOrifilet hss it at 4.61. NFLDraftbuzz estimates it st 4.55. According to Grok.

If it’s 4.61 that’s slow. Very hard to improve speed. He should try losing weight before the combines start. Getting to 4.5 or just under would be great.

That site has him as the 5th overall running back.

I believe he was first team all B1G which is quite an honor. My guess is second or third round. Cooper Dejean, a third rounder, is making about $2.5m per year. But he is also in line to make a ton of money because his rooking contract will run out and as a star, he’ll get paid handsomely. I’d be shocked if Kaytron wants to stay. With the short shelf life of RBs, he’ll want to start making a couple of million per year and, if successful, set himself up for a big payday on his second contract. Plus, I don’t think PSU will pay him $2m in NIL.

Allar is another story. He was projected as a first rounder, perhaps overall #1, but the offense was a disaster which hurt his draft status. He may be able to make some of that up with NFL scouting combines, pro days and interviews. But QBs can play for 15+ years and he may be in no hurrry to play in the NFL to get his second contract. A good season could put him back into first rounder status. I don’t know if he will be physically able in the scouting meetings given the surgery on his ankle as well.

Before the season started, I met a guy who has a family member in the Steelers front office. He told me that the Steelers LOVE Allar and like to draft local kids who are familiar with the upper Midwest. At the time, the Steelers were hoping he’d be available when they thought they’d draft in the late 20s of the first pick.

Kaytron has been selected 2nd team All American. He'll be fine. And no, there isn't a single draft site I have any faith in. They all have agendas, just like teams and agents. Same folks said Trace, Troy Apke, and Sean wouldn't get drafted.

IMO re Drew, after seeing those critical picks in both UO games and against ND, playing in a faster NFL environment won't help matters.

First,I don’t think you can look at such a limited set of observations. I think PSU has been horrible at both WR and QB development. The quality of WR play we’ve had has been ridiculously bad. Our AD said this in the stolen recording. I think the NFL will understand that Allar had awful coaching and a weak supporting cast. He has what cannot be taught. If he gets in with a good team and has a year or two to develop, he’ll be just fine.
