Nobody here talking about Franklin's Wed post practice PC and how he just seems to be too loyal

to his returning starters that don't seem to be making it, as well as the 3 transfer WR's that also don't look like the answer....?

I don't remember Paterno ever losing two games early in the season without making a couple of changes in the starting lineup. Look at the tape, find out who isn't playing well, and give a younger talented player a chance to make a difference. Pretty simple, but not when the coach is overly loyal to his seniors .........

yep, loyalty is an issue. You love it as the player/family who is playing due to it but it really hurts the younger guys in the program

There is no such thing as "loyalty" in football. There is no such thing as "family" other than your family. That is all BS, and anyone who falls for it at work, college, or anywhere else is kidding themselves. Franklin needs to play whoever he thinks is the best player at that position to beat NW. That's it, full stop and period. If they play like crap and/or lose, it is his job. He needs to go down doing what he thinks he needs to do.
