Only one ranked game today as we kick off the season. (All times EDT)

(#22 AP) Iowa State @ (#17 AP) Kansas State
Aer Lingus College Football Classic, Arriva Stadium, Dublin, Ireland. Noon kick
ESPNBet has K State a 3.5 favorite in this one (O/U 50.5)

Other games today with ESPNBet odds (these games seem to be mostly for the degenerate gambler and fans of the respective schools)
Idaho State @ UNLV - 4 p.m. UNLV -30.5 (O/U 65.5)
Fresno State @ Kansas - 6:30 p.m. Fox KU -14.5 (O/U 50.5)
Sam Houston @ Western Kentucky - 7:00 pm CBS Sports Network WKU -10.5 (O/U 60.5)
Stanford @ Hawaii - 7:30 PM CBS/Paramount+ HAW -2.5 (O/U 50.5)

Fresno State @ Kansas could be interesting. Stanford @ Hawaii has Frank Reich as interim coach for Stanford with a team of 17 transfers. Andrew Luck is Stanford's GM, btw. Timmy Chang, former Hawaii QB, is starting his 4th year as head coach.

Interesting storyline in the Fresno State @ Kansas game - both coaches had tremendous success at lower levels - Kansas's Lance Leipold at D3 Wisconsin Whitewater (6 D3 championships in 8 years, including 5 15-0 seasons) and Matt Entz at FCS power NDSU, where he succeeded K. State's Chris Kleiman. The Bison continued Kleiman's success with two FCS natties and a runner-up spot finish in 5 playoff trips in Entz's 5 seasons there. Should be two well-coached teams.

Thanks for putting this up. I have to watch that noon game. I'm so starved for football that I'll watch 2 teams that I couldn't care less about. Ranked game, I'm in.

Will try to get a pick'em going for next week. Too much going on this week. Without doing much research on it, but having heard a fair bit out of excitement out of Ames, I kind of like Iowa State in this one. IMO Rocco Becht may be better than Brock Purdy was at ISU. He seemed to have something during the regular season last year, at least. Several comebacks, if I recall. If ISU loses a winnable game, will we see Matt Campbell go after a heckler? He's kind of James Franklin-like in that sense. Maybe a little worse.

Iowa St could be a playoff team. They finished last year really high and return as many starters as we do. They'll be good. I'm surprised that they aren't ranked higher preseason and that they aren't favored in this match up. If I were a sports bettor, I'd lay a little on Iowa St in this one. It's just that the overseas thing is tough to see who handles that travel and prep well.

Typically how many days in advance do the teams travel to Ireland? They were both traveling from U.S. Central time zone so a what, 6-7 hr time difference?

I've been listening to the game while driving. Tied at 7 in the 3rd quarter. Good defense, sloppy offense? Any thoughts?

Announcers said they were here for 3-4 days. Also said 3-4 days to recover when they get back to US. I find that hard to believe.

Thank you. Just put it on.

Every week, search the game and click on the one that has at least 1K viewers. Most every game ends up on there. Sometimes they get shut down and you have to chase a clean link.

Only ones I've never seen show up are the streaming only type games.
