Great game and a total nail-biter. I'm not ordinarily a hockey fan but the sport is at its best in these kind of high-stakes games where every shot on goal has you holding your breath.

Couldn't agree more about the goal-tender. A performance for the ages. He's the MVP no doubt but everyone played out of their minds. Loved the interview with Jack Hughes who scored the game-winner in OT. There he was...two broken front teeth and all...talking about his love of America.

What a contrast with those self-absorbed, self-indulgent brats who took the occasion of their gold medals to signal their fake virtue by running down their country. They're an example of why I didn't watch even one minute of these Olympics until the final hockey game.
 
Hughes post game interview was incredible. Just beautiful to watch throughout. The team pictures with Gaudreaus kids really got to me. And Tirico’s commentary was spot on. Great tv and a great story. USA!!!

It doesn't make or export anything down the value chain, wants to import Chinese EVs and nationals, is still in awe of that whole British monarchy thing, and enacts anything WEF and EU, like anything "green" and limiting speech/thoughts. The USA is basically paying for its defense, and therefore its slow, selective, but "free" healthcare.
Correction: it does export talented hockey players.

MLB, NBA & NFL players could learn a lot from these NHL players. They played only for the pride of winning for a country they love. No one kneeled for the anthem, etc. These men deeply love America and now we love them right back. They are now a team of destiny.
