Penn State move to Adidas official

I don't have a problem with it - fewer NIL dollars for the Ducks, plus I feel like Phil Knight could have done more to support JoePa.

The one concern I have is that this takes effect on Jan. 1, 2026. We plan to have a couple of games in January, if all goes well. I hope we'll have some Adidas shoes to wear before that. I don't like to see a variable like that change mid-season.

Tengwall said Nike lowballed PSU. Showed very little to no interest. If true, very odd as we were one of their top brands. Maybe Phil knight no longer likes us.

Adidas supposedly offered $30 million a year with a dedicated NIL package amount. Very similar to the deal Tennessee recently signed, but I believe ours is actually bigger.

Also of note, Tennessee flipped an LSU committ, who signed an Adidas NIL deal just prior. For better, for worse, it is believed they will push kids towards Adidas schools.
