Hate the game, not the player. Let's be honest, if Penn State had won, a portion of their roster was bought.
EDIT: Also, if Indiana was able to "buy" a championship beyond the means of the Mighty SEC and B2G elites, then shame on all of them. If anything, Indiana winning provides hope that the atrocity that is CFB today will not 100% consolidate power with the Top 10 programs that have the most money.

It has always been this way, TBH. The SEC has bought players for decades. TV contracts to the large conferences lock out smaller ones because they spend bazilions on stadiums and facilities.
Cignetti, by necessity or reason, leveraged NIL and the portal more effectively than anyone else. If you look at QBs in the new era, senior transfers are winning. Homegrown QBs are not. That is the obvious position to see. Larger schools are going to spend a lot less money and time developing players out of HS. They are going to spend a lot more time scouting and offering over achievers from lesser schools.
To me, that has become very clear.
He would have had Singleton in the game instead of Allen then thrown a fade to the corner of the end zone to clifford
It’s more than just the QB, It’s older players with experience, beating younger 4 and 5 star players, at least in the case of Indiana.
