Terry Smith's Monday MSU game PC

I'm not a sold on Grunk as TS is. Grunk is showing a decent arm and if they turn him lose with more down the field throws he may show us he has the arm. But he does not seem athletic enough to either create time in the pocket by moving around or to get away from the rush and either make plays with his feet or by continuing looking down field and letting it go on the run. Hope Terry is correct....

A McSorley-type QB can add a lot to an offense.

This will be the first defense he faces that isn’t in the top five nationally.

AK can open up the playbook.
He could have the last three games but only did on a few series. He is as predicable as a liberal woman screaming 'nazi' to a white man she disagrees with.

I am hoping our OL is able to control the LOS better and thus Allen an take over the game.

Post game presser. Terry's answer to question at 4:20 mark is damning of JF

So they asked why the vertical passing game was successful, and Terry paused, then said, "We made calls to throw the ball down the field." So we had a kid with one of the strongest arms in college football who owns the university accuracy record and we weren't calling downfield plays? Same OC.

I saw a podcast where the podcaster last weeks game was the first he has seen that looked like Penn State football in 12 yrs. The last was when O'Brien was coach. He also admitted that he didn't like Franklin or his style of football.

I agree with that observation. The 1st half of the Ohio State game the team looked like they were starting to put things together. But, this past week, TS had them working as a team. Knowles also seems to be on board, as the defense looked good. They played Penn State style of football. Never gave up, made half time adjustments and beat the odds makers. I wouldn't be disappointed if TS is made HC. I saw where someone said he would make a great general mgr for Penn State football.

Of all the candidates out there, which one will be able to bring the Penn State style of football back?

If they play well and win this weekend, I could see a path where TS become the HC. Hire new OC and possibly a DC and you will get most of the recruits back and then have the new Adidas $ for the portal.
I'd be shocked if TS is named the new HC. Nothing against Terry but I'd love for him to be part of the new head coach's staff. Kraft needs a home run hire to indemnify his $700m investment.
