Terry won’t be on next coaching staff

If he doesn’t get permanent head coach, and gets a position on next coaching staff after a few bad losses the Terry chants from the fans would be deafening.
 
Terry is perceived as a hero like Maximus in gladiator movie. Unless he has big role like defensive coordinator or offensive coordinator, the mob will be chanting TERRY when the score is Maryland 31 PSU 6 something like that. A new coaching staff can't take a chance on that.
 
The only knock I've seen against Terry is his administrative skills at this level. When he wins on Sat, he will have the identical record for 2025 as Franklin and against a much harder schedule and with a new QB. Throw in that the best LB being out. TS has been involved heavily in recruiting, and been around the BIG since the portal and NIL. He is the Associate Head Coach, so I'm pretty sure he was in the loop. If you want continuity in the current coaches and team, then TS should measure up.

I don't think the fanbase would be as hard on TS as they would be from a new face that starts by losing games or not winning big.

And Kraft and the donors (business leaders) would ensure the administrative stuff is taken care of.
