We have a backup WR as our current backup QB. We have to hit the portal for at minimum a suitable backup or 2. They will barely be able to run practices well with our current QB room. I think Grunk has the time and the confidence to take on anyone we bring in through the portal anyway. He should know we have a depth issue and that we think he has a bright future.

Im not saying dont bring one in, Im saying RB is better than BP for when they do.
 
For 2026: Marshall, @Temple, Buffalo, @Maryland. This should help ramp up PSU's QB play. After that, it's the WRs, RBs, OL, DL, LBs, CBs, and Ss who must chip in. 2026 success is not solely a QB concern.
