Two thoughts:
1- It’d be nice if we got the 2nd place treatment in football
2- Cael has to be thinking that PSU is chasing Natl titles and awards. B10? Whatever….just a stop on the way to Nationals.
Hughes post game interview was incredible. Just beautiful to watch throughout. The team pictures with Gaudreaus kids really got to me. And Tirico’s commentary was spot on. Great tv and a great story. USA!!!
Really interesting comments by Stephon Morris. I think Franklins stay has to be measured in context. It’s not all good or all bad. He’s a good coach who did a lot of great things at PSU but couldn’t get them to the highest level. As someone who really liked what he did I’m comfortable saying...
this should be a good game
PSU playing really well
UCLA doesn’t travel well, and having all sorts of problems - can’t play D, injuries, missing preseason expectations.
Brahmer sounds like what Olesh could be. A great receiving TE. I have no idea what kind of blocker he is at this point but in pregame I enjoyed watching Olesh catch the ball and he’s huge and moves really well. Was really hoping he’d stick around and be the future.
In regards to Reynolds...
Couldn’t agree more. IU plays the right way. Cignetti has to be a great judge of talent.
BTW, I’m 59 so I’m hoping I can still participate in this thread?
This is ridiculous. There are multiple changes everyday and it will be worse tomorrow when the Portal opens. It’s a joke and has taken the enjoyment out of following a team, its players and recruits, and watching them develop.
I hope year 2 of the MC era is better as I understand he’s building...
Shame about Grunk, and Reynolds for that matter. Was hoping they’d both be here. Smolik would be a nice backup but it appears he’s leaving to.
IU looks great. Not sure how Cignetti did it but they’re for real.
Alabama kinda looks like ???? maybe IU did 3 years ago?
