I checked Mel Kiper's latest big board this evening and sure enough, he's moved Mendoza ahead of Moore. Honestly, Mendoza just looked flat-out better than Moore last night.

Agreed on all counts. Oregon gifted Indiana 21 points early on with one back-breaking turnover after another deep in its own territory. The game was over before halftime. Also, Mendoza may have moved himself ahead of Moore as #1 pick in this year's draft.

I've followed this sport for decades and have been conditioned to think of Indiana as bumbling and pathetic. Yet over the last two games, they've looked like one of the greatest teams in the annals of college football and are now looking to make history. Everything is clicking for them...
