His TDS, like most folks, clouds their thinking. It's Trumps awful, blah, blah, blah, then trying at all costs to defend their position. Their defense is only, but Trump. Fact is, Trump has had an incredible run and they've been 100% wrong about everything. In the meantime, the Dems are imploding, and are no longer Dems. They're radical Socialists and Communists.

I think this illegal alien invasion has warped our economy in many ways. One is just what you suggest. Second, there aren't "jobs Americans won't do" but just jobs Americans won't do for that salary. IA undercut the natural balance of our capitalist culture. Not only could you hire illegals at lower costs, but you had to in order to compete in many industries. And those are the entry-level jobs that allow you to work at a decent wage in order to fund a minimum but healthy lifestyle, including a place to live, good food, and health insurance. They also gutted things like Medicare, Medicaid, and free health care provided by emergency rooms.
Dems kept falsely funding these things, which warped the system. Housing is another issue that may go away. It may be painful getting there but it will be much better when we do.

Why aren't kids mowing lawns? Because some group of illegal adults are doing it.
This whole Americans won't take jobs starts at the minor level.
Kids used to have to do these jobs. And those who wanted money would do more.
All that opportunity was taken away by illegals who go around and do the job for the same price.
Structurally kids have no purpose because even if they wanted to, they can't compete with illegals. They have school.
Or because I get tons of data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics for my statistics classes that I teach at the community college I know that guys like catch fake the numbers the first time around because they’re told too

Participation rate is down, which sets the unemployment number down. Increase in govt jobs is where there was hiring. This may be seasonal. Biden increased govt jobs to keep the unemployment rates down. Private industry held steady. Why no boost in seasonal employment? Number of hours worked is down slightly - 34.6 hrs/wk. Long term unemployed has increased.
FWIW. The neighboring plant that puts boxes on the back of trucks has laid off workers and has shut down this week. They can't get steel, which they were importing. Ironically, the Steelton steel plant is shutting down. Steelton is heavy to railroad material. Microsoft is laying off 9,000 workers.
