The season opener @ASU is ill-timed for me due to the FB game @ UCLA. Anyone interested in attending the ASU games, look no further than right in Tempe for lodging. And for a step up, with golf, there's AZ Biltmore, Camelback Inn, and The Boulders.

Another option to catch both FB and hockey. Fly into PHX or one of the LA airports. Catch the first hockey game at ASU, then immediately drive to maybe Palm Desert area (4-hour drive), catch some Zs, then off to Pasadena. LA to PHX is an easy ~6-hour desert drive.
 
Quite the steal. $350/ticket is currently the cheapest for Oct3 at The Mullett (No. Not named after Barry Melrose). Prices will probably hang around at that level due to very limited supply and high demand.

FYI. $130 for the Friday night game on Seat Geek. On the blue line across from the PSU bench. Didn't check Saturday's game but probably similar. I'll be at the football game, so will miss both.
FWIW, I was over at the AZ Biltmore on Sunday. The weather and golf are superb.👍
