2025/26 Transfer Portal & Roster Changes Thread

Sounds like this RB really wants to play at PSU and will be an asset to the team given that he would rather walk on at PSU than go to Pitt and some other programs....
Interesting pick up, nothing but positive press on this guy down in Delaware. Two time State champion, came up big in big games, 3.4 GPA, his coach raves about him, from the same high school as Chris Godwin.

Duke and Miami settle with the Duke QB transferring. So for anyone not familiar, the Duke QB signed a binding NIL agreement (I believe for two years) and then decided to bolt to Miami for more money. Duke sued him. It looks like they settled. My guess is that Miami ended up agreeing to paying the penalty to Duke but I don't know. In any case, this is now the status of college football. The team repping the QB, Young Money, is trying to save face.

That last write up seems to be discounting Koby Howard.

Yes, it does seem to focus on the 2 incoming ISU WR transfers and the RS Soph Jones from Grambling. I attribute that to just plain poor journalism. It seems most of the articles I read have some glaring errors in them, as well as bad grammar. From that same writeup:
"He made 31 passes for 438 yards and four touchdowns last season..."

How does a WR "make" passes?

Howard is talented but younger and less experienced comparison to the 3 transfers, Sowell, Eskildson, and Jones. I look for Howard to be firmly in the competition to start and end up at least seeing 20 snaps a game. If he continues to show his playmaking he'll be on the field making plays.

Campbell strikes me as a coach that's all about winning. and by that I mean that I believe he'll play the players, young or older, that give the team the best chance to win. I'm not trying to bash Franklin as I believe he did a pretty good job at PSU overall, but there seemed to be times where he would not play young players when those players seemed to be more talented than those that played. Howard sitting most of the 2025 season when the USC transfer WR was playing but mostly MIA is one example. Especially at WR and RB he would say that the young player's blocking wasn't good enough, when his coaches should have been preparing the young talent to contribute earlier than what they did. Young, talented players play early at most other teams. JMO

What do they expect to get from a company run by Lil Wayne. Just an Fyi, besides headliner Travis hunter, KLS is a client
