Dabo exposes tampering by Ol Miss. How will this get resolved? The spineless NCAA is unlikely to hand out sanctions. Is this a crime, or will it be totally ignored.....?

There are no rules now unfortunately. At some point it will be unwatchable. That time isn't here yet but we are trending there.

I have no idea if this is a crime but the NCAA will do nothing

Sounds like this RB really wants to play at PSU and will be an asset to the team given that he would rather walk on at PSU than go to Pitt and some other programs....
Interesting pick up, nothing but positive press on this guy down in Delaware. Two time State champion, came up big in big games, 3.4 GPA, his coach raves about him, from the same high school as Chris Godwin.

Duke and Miami settle with the Duke QB transferring. So for anyone not familiar, the Duke QB signed a binding NIL agreement (I believe for two years) and then decided to bolt to Miami for more money. Duke sued him. It looks like they settled. My guess is that Miami ended up agreeing to paying the penalty to Duke but I don't know. In any case, this is now the status of college football. The team repping the QB, Young Money, is trying to save face.

That last write up seems to be discounting Koby Howard.

Yes, it does seem to focus on the 2 incoming ISU WR transfers and the RS Soph Jones from Grambling. I attribute that to just plain poor journalism. It seems most of the articles I read have some glaring errors in them, as well as bad grammar. From that same writeup:
"He made 31 passes for 438 yards and four touchdowns last season..."

How does a WR "make" passes?

Howard is talented but younger and less experienced comparison to the 3 transfers, Sowell, Eskildson, and Jones. I look for Howard to be firmly in the competition to start and end up at least seeing 20 snaps a game. If he continues to show his playmaking he'll be on the field making plays.

Campbell strikes me as a coach that's all about winning. and by that I mean that I believe he'll play the players, young or older, that give the team the best chance to win. I'm not trying to bash Franklin as I believe he did a pretty good job at PSU overall, but there seemed to be times where he would not play young players when those players seemed to be more talented than those that played. Howard sitting most of the 2025 season when the USC transfer WR was playing but mostly MIA is one example. Especially at WR and RB he would say that the young player's blocking wasn't good enough, when his coaches should have been preparing the young talent to contribute earlier than what they did. Young, talented players play early at most other teams. JMO

What do they expect to get from a company run by Lil Wayne. Just an Fyi, besides headliner Travis hunter, KLS is a client

No problem. PSU's 2026 class was ranked #60 and so far we don't have any commits for 2027. OSU already has two 5*s and four 4*s for 2027 but I'm sure we can catch up in the portal.
It's really a little too late in the 2027 cycle to believe that Campbell is going to close on 5 star recruits that have been coddled by coaches across the country sincee they were 15 years old, or younger. Campbell wasn't recruiting any of them when he was at ISU and any PSU coaches leading the recruitment of any 5 stars that PSU may have had some chance at are gone except for TS. It doesn't seem realistic to hold Campbell accountable for "losing them" to teams that have been among their top choices for multiple years. Spell on the other hand Campbell had a chance at, but if it came down to throwing the top $ offer at him that wasn't happening either. Yes, top RB's are available in the transfer portal. I'm not a big fan of posts here that begin with "lets see....." as my response to that (which I don't replay/post) is "no $hit.....", but we'll really have to wait and see if Campbell can close on top recruits, mainly in PSU's core recruting area, for players that he is on heavy early which eliminates the 2027 class players. It sounded like PSU was squarely in the mix for Spell. Would be great if he could bring in the WR from Pine-Richland that was previously commited to PSU but there again he'll have lots of big $ options. In the end a top 20 class for 2027 may be the ceiling but from what's been going on with the staff so far it sure looks like they are giving it a great effort.

Part of the problem as you allude to is that the 2027 recruitment effort has started at a huge deficit. This new staff has zero relationships in our natural recruiting region. They had never met the players, coaches, or even been to the schools. What sucks about that is that 2027 in PA is especially loaded with high end recruits. But we are playing from way behind.

People should take notice to the strong 2028 start with the JR day reactions and already a good commitment. But those recruits aren't as far along as the 2027 class. They are more of a blank slate.

My prediction, top 20 level 2027 class and top 15 to top 10 2028 class. We'll get there. We'll just be more reliant on the portal than fans here are accustomed.
