Hopefully you are correct. Remember we had virtually no recruiting class last year and most of the portal kids we got were juniors or seniors. This is a total rebuild.

That would be beneficial. I don't believe Waters was Purdy's QB coach. Has he coached Becht his entire career. Is CMC involved with QB coaching? Trying to establish a development line here.

I'm guessing that CMC understands the holistic, synergistic, systems aspect of the game of football. A Canton/Mt. Union background might bring a no nonsense toughness and savvy. Rust belt football. Anti-BGJ. E.g. Good line play begets good RB play, which opens up better passing opportunities, which leads to more running opportunities, etc. QBs, RBs, and WRs and playcalling feed off each other.
It will be a different look than having a handful of exceptional athletes showing their individual talents, but where plays and play calling for the situation appear disjointed.
