Alabama fans are threatening to secede from the Union again

They were two-touchdown favorites to beat Florida State and it's going exactly the other way by 14 points...or more.

The Bama faithful are begging Nick Saban to come back. Haha! Figure the odds.

Nick saw the handwriting on the wall and bailed when he realized the system had no longer stacked the odds in his favor.

The SEC is overrated.

Two highly ranked SEC teams lose today. I wonder how LSU will fare this evening @ Clemson?

Let's hope the quarterbacks in tonight's LSU-Clemson game do a little better living up to their hype than did the quarterbacks in the 12:00 game at the Shoe.

I'm perplexed that a team with a new, untested QB, can be ranked #1

Yup, Texas and their fans got a reality check for sure.

I mean, they're still good on both sides of the ball, especially the D, and will win a lot of games.

But if they're going to seriously compete to win it all, they're going to need a lot more from Arch than what they got today.

Their running game is so-so. The OL has been 4/5 replaced. Didn't see blazing speed from the WRs. But a top ten team.

I thought their running back, Wisner, looked pretty good. 16 carries for 80 yards -- 5 yards a carry -- against a very solid D.

The revamped OL seemed to hold up well...gave Manning time to throw.

Wingo at receiver was their big speed guy and he showed a flash or two but Manning didn't get him the ball. Maybe that's more a reflection of how well the Bucks played in the secondary.

Honestly, I put it on Manning. He flat out didn't look good. At this level of competition, your QB has to make plays...and throws. Manning made a few of those in the 4th quarter but looked generally bad throughout the game.

I said in a post that it reminded me of our games against Ohio State. One thing for sure, Drew is going to have his work cut out for him in the Shoe on November 1.

I'm going with Clemson to complete the SEC trifecta of humiliation.

The natives are restless in Baton Rouge. Patience had run very thin with Brian Kelly well before tonight's game. Now after that confused 4th-down bust late in the half, a social media lynch mob is forming.

Ah fans...you gotta love them...
