Coach Franklin's Nova game PC

- Players getting frustrated by missing on a play instead of moving on and focusing on the next play, particularly Drew.

- OL was much more physical in game 2. Sometimes hard to gear up physicality as finishing plays is not a part of normal practice reps.

- Comments on Chaz Coleman. Expects significant improvement game to game due to his limited experience at DE.

- Comments on how LB and Safety has been impacted by Knowles. Safety depth is development. LB a little behind depth wise, but they have to plas the younger LB's some more to get them playing faster.

- Long ball location and results.

- Special teams strategies, elimination of errors.

On going theme with Drew. Not controlling his emotions.

I think Drew wants to be perfect. He can't be. He needs to loosen up and have fun playing the game. I know it is basically his job now but be a college kid and play free. From his first year I felt that they drilled not making mistakes too much into his head. I think this is Franklin's philosophy. He goes by the analytics. No turnovers. It's why we almost always beat teams that we have more talent than. It's why we almost never beat teams that we have less talent than.

With the elite teams when you play not to make mistakes you inherently play more cautious and conservative. That leads to playing not to lose which typically results in losing. The mental aspect comes into play and in winning time that not to lose attitude usually results in not being able to make the clutch play. It has been our problem for years vs OSU.

That's why I said I know it is basically his job now before the part you pulled out of that post.
I think being a QB for any top 20 college team involves a lot of pressure. I doubt that the money adds much. I think it's more about fans & media reporting that you can't win the big games.
