I found it to be the most confusing airport. I was dumped off on the tarmac, bussed in, and then walked a mile to get into the airport itself. I had no idea where I was or where I was going. Confusing for sure.

about a year ago, I saw a program (perhaps on the discovery channel) that was focused on efficiency at airports. They used Frankfurt as a case study and raved about how they do everything right. They specifically mentioned how the signage Made navigating the airport exceptionally easy.

I’ve been through Frankfurt MANY times and have never navigated my way through it without at least a few hiccups……it’s very confusing…..especially he signs and maps.
