Looks like he is holding a press conference this morning to either announce his retirement or the severity of his health issues. Sounds like he does have some pretty bad issues in his legs.

This reminds me of a children’s book I read as a child and for some reason, has stuck with me for decades. The story was about a young buck/male deer who was so proud of his magnificent rack/horns and ashamed of his skinny legs. One day a hunter comes after him and while trying to get away his rack gets caught in the brush. At the last second he breaks free and his ugly skinny legs save him as he dashes away.
Here is prime who was one of the best athletes the NFL ever saw. His legs were miraculously exceptional as a young man. Yet, at a young fairly young age, betray him.
What was the outcome of the pr? Hope he’s ok.

I know he has had toes cut off, and has suffered from poor circulation and clots. His travel has been very, very restricted over the past several years

Wow didn’t know any of that.
I always thought he would leave Colorado as soon as his kid did. Just thought he would try for a NFL job.
But appears these health issues are legit. Hope he deals with it successfully.

He may have taken steroids and other performance enhancing drugs. Znc probably enjoyed dome elicit recreational drugs that all contributed.
Hope he makes a full recovery, lives a long life and…. if true….warns young athletes about those dangers.
If I understood correctly they said they gave him an artificial bladder made from his intestine. I though people were restricted to a life of using a colostomy bag after this type of surgery.

Or maybe he didn’t. Don’t make **** up. He was a pretty straight forward athlete just showman. He was good with his money and family. He wasn’t like Irvin and others around them
I've never heard any of that about him. I knew he had a lot of problems with his feet over the past several years. I thought maybe it was something blood-sugar related, but it was apparently due to blood clots that were a complication from surgery on his dislocated toe.

So looked it up. He said he never did drugs because of what it to his family and friends. Preached to his teams zbout it.
But he missed a drug screening test while with the Redskins leading to rumors. The Ravens tested him weekly after he flunked a test, he said result of being treated for an ankle injury.
