A potential scenario/risk and a likely moral dilemma. But it is never right to conceal evil. If the Israelis were perpetuating this evil, then they have to come clean. Public sentiment would shift considerably but most would still understand that they have a right to exist and defend themselves.
 
It's tragically great to watch the devolution of conspiracy nutters as they scramble to make sense of their world crashing in around them ... while still trying to support their cult leaders.

They sit here looking for fall guys ... Bondi, Bongino, the Israelis, etc.

They weave all sorts of intricate webs of explanations around the reality that lays before them.

But they never look to the cult leader, who bragged about busting in on underage girls naked explicitly because they were powerless to stop him from committing said crime ... who publicly sexually lusted after his own daughter ... who repeatedly partied with the guy who was the alleged ringleader of this criminal enterprise, and had this guy and his compatriots on his own property, soliciting victims ... who has been found liable for sexual crimes ... who is a known and repeated sexual deviant, who loves to abuse any power he has. Believe me, I understand the frustration expressed by Matt and people here.

In fact, the notion that Epstein suddenly and conveniently committed suicide in that high-security cell has never passed the Giggle Test, which leads to the question of who killed him and why.

As I said in an earlier post, if I magically knew that the conspiracy theory about the sex-trafficking blackmail op were true, then for me it would be a hill worth dying on regardless of whose oxes were gored. Since, however, I don't know the theory is true...and it's now clear we'll never know...I don't see it as a hill worth risking the blow-up of Trump's administration on...with the gift that would be to the Evil Party.

Meanwhile, Trump's social media post last night was a doozy even by his standards. Of course he doesn't get the irony of complaining that people won't let Epstein go and then in practically the next sentence continuing with his years-long fixation on the results of the 2020 election being crooked. Evidently it's OK not to let that go.

In any case, maybe it's a good thing if Trump finds out that he can't snap his fingers and have his MAGA and conservative base fall immediately in line.

Trump took advantage of the crazies to rise to power. He fanned the flames of the crazies in order to stay in power and, then, to regain power. Now, he may be consumed by what he created, as the fire rages out of control.

If that happens, it'll just be a riotous descent into madness as the crazies further break from reality, or the next iteration of the messiah able to captivate the crazies will have to be even more maniacal.

Dershowitz explicitly says there was no Epstein Client list but says the names of people are in the hands of federal judges who have sealed the files. Since Epstein died it appears there is no reason to keep the info sealed.
