Dershowitz states that there is an Epstein list and he has seen it. Not good at all for the attorney general or the FBI director. Or Alina Habbaba.

People that are STEM majors or of the STEM mentality are, by definition, rational thinkers. They look for truth, fairness, and systems that are functional. They understand the intent and workings of the US Constitution, merit systems, fair elections, critical thinking, smaller/functional governments, how to spot weld aluminum or choose the right trout fly, etc. I find that the best arguments come from this camp.

Frankly you have generalized well. Not that all STEM are the same but there does tend to be more logical/rational/truth-seeking as opposed to feeling. That's not to say those with a STEM background are unwilling to compromise, lack empathy, or do not understand nuance. But generally speaking, you are spot on in this generalization. There of course are always exceptions.

Like the Las Vegas mass shooting story that just went away. No hotel footage. No explanation. People just want to know who Epstein was, how he came to own a mansion on his own island, what IC connections he had, how was it that he was associated with many of the rich and powerful, how was this "hoax" concocted and for what purpose, etc. etc. etc. Trump or one of his spokespeople should lay out the summary of events. It would take less than five minutes.

Agreed.

And he should stop the bizarre attacks on his own supporters for asking these obvious and logical questions.

Man you don’t let things go and are a miserable person. This reminds me of your tow truck posts on the rivals site. Brutal

I think "miserable" is the wrong word, Knicks.

Rather, OP's issues are a breezy confidence to the point of arrogance in the certainty of his sometimes dubious viewpoints on things like the meaning of English words...and a comically over-inflated self-regard for believing that other people give the slightest crap about his opinions regarding their virtues or lack thereof.

On the other hand, he's intelligent, articulate, and has the right opinions on most issues. So there's that. As with everyone, to include the President...and you...and me, one has to take the good with the bad.

They understand the intent and workings of the US Constitution,
I don't care who you are, that's funny right there.

You can't even figure out how to include "to be" in the phrase "that car needs to be fixed."

Yes, we should cast aside all the attorneys and judges, who are trained in logic and analysis of the written word ... and replace them with some dude who helps build bridges ... that'll fix the Constitution.

Here's a task for Frank Lee ... every time you want to put forward a "rational" argument in favor of a conservative viewpoint, also give us the liberal rational argument, since we know there are plenty of moderates and liberals who are in STEM fields.

In the immortal words of Frank Lee, this ought good.

As the old Sean Hannity saying goes, "Tick Tock"

Big hands. Small phone.

Since Hillary Clinton was never prosecuted for illegally having 30,000+ classified emails on her hard drive does that mean it was a hoax.

Yes. Even the craziest and least tied to reality MAGAt doesn't assert Hillary had 30K+ classified emails.

"After a years-long FBI investigation, it was determined that Clinton's server did not contain any information or emails that were clearly marked classified.[1] Federal agencies did, however, retrospectively determine that 100 emails contained information that should have been deemed classified at the time they were sent, including 65 emails deemed "Secret" and 22 deemed "Top Secret". An additional 2,093 emails were retroactively designated confidential by the State Department.[2][3][4][5] "From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification." "Separately, it is important to say something about the marking of classified information. Only a very small number of the e-mails containing classified information bore markings indicating the presence of classified information."

But you already knew this.

Look, you've got a prosecutor, on the record several times, saying the justice department told him to back off prosecuting Epstein because he was an intelligence asset.

This is false. But you already knew this.

The "expose" is Fake News about a supposed birthday letter that Trump supposedly wrote to Epstein.

Trump says he's suing the WSJ for publishing it...and good for Trump.

No copy of the letter was shown. The text sounds totally fake. All in all, another disgusting hit job on the President. It gets old. It really does.

Meanwhile, Trump told Bondi to release the grand jury transcripts on Epstein. The question is whether the courts will unseal the documents that Dershowitz says contains names of those accused but no proof of their guilt.

The WSJ should be ashamed of itself.

Sounds like one of Hillary's fantasies.
