Flash flood at Augusta National

If you have seen the type of construction, the amount of money the top CC's spend to alter holes it wouldn't surprise me if this Fall Augusta National looks exactly like it did for the 2025 Masters by this coming Fall. They will spare no expense to get it back the way they want it in the shortest possible contruction schedule.

My older brother was a member at Oakmont when they removed all the trees. You would play one day, and then come back to play the next day and trees would be gone and grass in place, no evidence (saw chips or anything) that the tree had been there the previous day. Too bad PENDOT can't work like that on our roads........

Augusta will he fine come next April. It will look spotless with not one blade of grass out of place. It is always immaculate.
 
This got moved because it ‘wasn’t football related’

That’s fine with me but I didn’t know the subject matter was so restricted. I thought sports related was the idea🤷🏻‍♀️

Hey Spin, yeah your post got put out to pasture. No one is coming here. Anyway, I was thinking or really hoping that Augusta National will be fine. It is a blessing this did not happen right before the Masters. I think the course is only open for playing in the Fall for a couple months and maybe a couple months after the Masters. Closed in the summer and winter. At least this happened when the course was closed. At least I think it is closed now. They have a lot of time to get it back looking perfect.

Yeah, saw it was moved. No big deal.

This ‘Sports talk’ board will gain coverage as fall sports picks up. World Series, hockey season, NBA playoffs and more.

It was a brilliant idea to create a board for all other sports talk…….since I suggested it !😂

And since he wants to keep the football board so pure and focused. Having this board will draw people to the site and help generate activity on other pages.

As for Augusta I have no doubt they have the deep pockets and skills to make it ‘like it never happened !’
