Regarding the Hills parking and bus, a few points to consider
- The Hills area is the first area. When you get on the bus, it will be empty. It makes several stops and picks up more people. It takes about half an hour or more. But the police clear a lane for it so it doesn't get caught up in traffic.
After the game, the last bus leaves an hour after the final gun. So you can't really doddle if you stay for the entire game. At the same time, there is typically a line to get onto the bus. My experience has not been bad, as the buses are lined up and ready to go. I've waited, maybe, 15 minutes before boarding. Point is, if you want to linger, tailgate, visit, or just take it in, you won't have time.
Having said that, over an hour after buses leave, Ubers are typically available. So you can just get an Uber to the plaza if needed. Kids and seniors are free.
