Games of interest tomorrow...other than ours

Does anyone know how many points that generational talent at Michigan has put up at half?

Oklahoma has held Michigan to 100 yards and change total offense at the half...totally shut down the Wolverine running game...and held Underwood in check as well.

And then there was the shouting match on the sidelines between Michigan's QB and running back. That was entertaining.

The Cheaterines may need some more help from the referines to pull this one out.

Another they aren't really as good as their ranking score, #3 LSU 23-7 over La Tech

And now #12 Ariz St gives up a long TD to go down 24-20 to Miss St with 30 seconds remaining

Nice win for the SEC by Mississippi State.

Elsewhere, in what was apparently a great game, Michigan State outlasted Boston College 42-40 in two overtimes.

I missed the 4th quarter of the Michigan-Oklahoma game but it would seem Sooner mistakes kept the game as close as it was. Michigan's O was throttled and never really mounted a threat in the 4th quarter. So mark down Bryce Underwood as another rookie who comes into his first big-time game amid great hype but can't get it done. I think we see a pattern here. His verbal tiff with his running back on the sidelines was not a good look.

Oklahoma, on the other hand, may be back. Their new QB, John Mateer who transferred from Washington State, looked very good last night and their D looks very tough.

So five solid intersectional matchups for the Big-10 yesterday, and the conference went 3-2 with the losses being Michigan and Iowa in a close game against Iowa State. I'm glad we don't draw Illinois on the schedule this year.
