And in 1994, the legacy BigTen media voted for Nebraska as Nat'l champions over new conference member PSU. That thrashing the Buckeyes received that year from a former Eastern Independent must have had a bigger impact than first thought. I was telling my USC neighbor just yesterday about how he'll come to despise the BigTwo.
BTW, from my encounters with the many upper Midwest snowbirds here in AZ, they keep to themselves and tend to associate only with midwesterners. East coast and west coast people are way more talkative, inquisitive, and generally fun.

Yea. I don't get it. Maybe they don't get out or travel that much. Typically, they're down here by November and leave after the Cubs and Sox are done with spring training, getting back to Chicago, Duluth, or Racine for the grand kids. New Yorkers, Jerseyites, and even Yinzers will typically engage and BS about everything. Lets call it regional cultural nuances.
 
Two thoughts:

1- It’d be nice if we got the 2nd place treatment in football

2- Cael has to be thinking that PSU is chasing Natl titles and awards. B10? Whatever….just a stop on the way to Nationals.
