Indiana will be a hard out

They are looking really good. I think their QB has completed 12 in a row with a lot of YAC. How will we stack up? They play Oregon 2 weeks after us, but besides that and PSU, they should roll through the rest of their schedule. I know it's early, but they look playoff bound again. Thoughts?

Agree. They have good athletes and are well coached. If we don’t bring our “A” game, we’re likely to have a very big problem. —We are deeper, but James needs to have them ready…it will likely be a 4 quarter battle

Indiana is obviously good but I don't know how much to take from 1 game. They only beat Old Dominion 27-14.

I'm more worried about PSU. I predicted 11-1 but now I think 10-2 or possibly even 9-3. I've watched other teams and the thing that sticks out to me is how fast top QBs get rid of the ball. Allar takes more time and I think that's some of his problem. He didn't run much in the first 3 games and I assume the was by design. I think he's going to have to run to keep opponents off balance. To be honest I'm surprised that we're still 3 pt favorites vs Oregon.

Well he’s from PA and he was the HC of IUP for a handful of years. He turned IUP around before he moved on. I personally have never thought Curt was a jerk, I think he just flat out has it!

He was born in Pittsburgh. Was a GA and assistant at Pitt. His Dad coached at Pitt, WVU and I believe IUP. So he considers himself a WPA guy. Rocky as hell bit had backed it up. I think we beat IU 34-24.

I think we are still favorites primarily because of the White Out atmosphere. I don't think Vegas has really studied how we have won either, just seen the big margins of victory and given us a "check". That and the expectation that our offense and Allar will play much better for those who have studied the film.

Indiana is the real deal. Illinois was overrated but that kind of beat down cannot be excused away. Their QB, Mendoza, is really good and they have great WRs. Fast and physical. Their DLine looks very strong as well. It is early so we don't know how good or bad Illinois really is. Their game with USC this week in Champaign should tell us more.

After watching them dismantle the Illini, I think our game vs Indiana is probably our toughest test after Oregon and OSU. Mendoza looks much better than Allar at this point and if that comparison of their level of play continues then we are in trouble vs them.

First things first, we can change this narrative with a strong performance and win versus the Ducks while Allar looks good in the win.

Disagree. Vegas hasn't forgotten to watch a top 5 team through 4 weeks. They've adjusted the line (originally we were -6.5 favorites).

Oregon, Oregon, Oregon!
