Hope they go far but we had them today. Shame the victory was elusive. Here’s a few random thoughts on the game:

-just can’t get over the fact that our more highly recruited players got beat on big plays by IUs collection of players from JMU and W Kentucky - it’s really a credit to Cignetti but I just can’t understand it
-thought our last Timeout taken after the 1st down was really bad and eliminated the option to throw down the middle of the field and effectively ended the game
-good to see Singleton play so well
-just can’t allow the 2 long throws (22 and 29 yds plus a 17 yarder in there) at the end of the game. And we had some decent pressure on those plays. Is our back 7 that bad?
-our grit and toughness was better today but IU hangs there hat on gritty play. Once a hall mark of PSU football.

On the talent thing... we have been hearing a ton about the lack of talent at PSU. But, we still out talent almost every opponent on our schedule besodes two. So it's not a talent issue.

There's some big problems inside this program right now. And that's causing our talent to not perform.

The team has struggled to play a full game for years. The offense "disappears" for 10 to 15 game minutes game after game. Slow starts have become common. Disciplined and hard nosed play is not consistent. The new coach will need to fix these and other issues to be successful, IMO.

Those same JMU & WKU players did well against Oregon and other teams. They're very good players under excellent coaching.

Football is a cruel sport. She plays with your heart then stomps on it.

Kaytron has been our best player all year …and it’s not even close. At end of first half he was fighting hard for every inch he could get……and fumbled. IU scores an TD off the turnover.

First drive of second half our QB, who had been playing his best game yet, throws a pic on second play….leads to a IU field goal.

Quick ten points. And we may have gotten points without those two turnovers. Figure a 14 point swing.

And if their QB wins the Heisman he should cut it into pieces and give them to his receivers. They made amazing catch after amazing catch all game.

Meanwhile, our receivers…….🤮

Where is this talent you speak of? Kaytron, and Zakee are. Or do you mean star rankings which don't mean sheet. I don't see any of our WR leaping way off the ground and making toe taps. One impact linebacker on the whole team apparently, and he is a transfer, good grief!

Goon mentioned on a radio show that Abdul and Warren could be NFL rookies of the year, I think they made the difference last year.
Brings up a memory of Warren taking QB snap but nothing was open and he made numerous Norte Dame defenders miss and turned a big loss into a big gain. Just don't have that this year, or Abdul's impact on opposing offenses .

I've watched every Colts game. It's obvious to me that Tyler Warren is the difference. He makes everyone around him better. I thought PSU could sort of replace TW, but I was wrong.

The whole team is discombobulated this year. Talent, depth, schemes, psyche. Terry is patching things as best he can. Luckily, Kraft appears to know what he's doing. We'll see.
