JJ McCarthy Not Performing During Minnesota Camp

Hmm. What happened to him? Is the game a lot tougher when you don't know what the other team is doing?
I thought he was overrated coming out of college. They should not have let their starter go to free agency. They might have to trade to obtain a veteran QB if JJ continues to struggle. Remember, NFL means "Not for Long" and if he can't cut it, they might look to move him out and just eat the $.

Another example of these high/over paid NFL execs whiffing on QB prospects. Obviously there is time for him to improve but early indications are not good.

Remember at Michigan he was a glorified game manager. He had that great offensive line, two really good running backs and a good #1 WR (forget his name but he could make plays). And then of course he had the cheating advantage.

By the way, I wonder if that Michigan homer poster from the Rivals board is lurking around here, CanGee or something like that. If some poster pops up defending this cheating program then you know it's him.

In light of McCarthy's lack of class when playing OSU, I certainly don't wish him well. However, I grudgingly respect some of the clutch plays he made, including a TD pass against OSU 2 years ago, when he picked up on the tendency of a young safety and completed a very important TD pass.
