Muchigan fires HC Moore for cause

Now? It is time for Christians to pray for Sherrod and his family that Christ's love and promise of forgiveness rule in their lives and home. I do not like UM, but this is way bigger than football.
My heart aches for his kids.
Totally agree. For him and his family, a horrible disaster. Self inflicted. Worse, the allegations of threats and domestic violence. Icarus.

If you were a coaching candidate, would the cheating scandal and now this crazy situation make you think twice about taking the money that Michigan surely will offer? I mean the pattern there in such a short period suggests a higher chance of crash and burn.

Secondly, how does a recruit or parent ever trust Michigan knowing that they held this firing for a month to make sure that they got past national signing day effectively duping their 2026 class into signing with a coach that Michigan knew was getting canned?

Here is a great revenue of Moore, Michigan and the way this all unfolded. A really damming history at Michigan over the last few years: since Harbaugh took over until now.

A meteoric rise for Moore to HC. He probably wasn’t mentally ready, experienced or morally sound to be in such a position. He probably never earned it. And that is due to Michigans refusal to clean house and start over.

A recruit showed feel betrayed, not guilty for getting out of their commitment. Maybe the B1G and NCAA. should investigate and penalize if deliberate fraud was used.

If you ever questioned the power of sin and evil take note. A 39 year old man, working with a contract worth $25+ million, risked it all for sex with a kid 20 years younger.
You have to be crazed to do that. As a public figure, nothing could be expected to remain hidden but the urge was so strong he ignored it.

A proposal...
1. The program loses 50 scholarships per year over the next three years.
2. No bowl appearance for the 2026 season.
3. Pays a fine of $50 million to be distributed to various victim protection non-profits.
4. The Big10 Conference and BTN must reduce the team's status from #2 to #5 over the next three years.

1. All signs point to a "lack of institutional control." Too bad the NCAA doesn't care about their actual mission

2. They will be okay for the same reason that the Raiders, Browns, Jets, Titans, Giants, and Panthers can still get free agents. The $$. We'll see if they take a downgrade, but they will be okay.

Yes. A coach threatening to murder an assistant seems like a pretty big deal.

Assuming that is true.

Imagine how many were allowed to walk away scott free 🤷🏽‍♀️

And this doesn’t cover players transgressions. 😡
Yep. I recall the kicker who was accused by a woman for something and the charge that Taylor Lewan tried to intimidate her. It is the very definition of lacking institutional control. Michigan hasn’t dealt with the problems and it is why this keeps happening.

Well, they kind of dealt with it. They put perhaps the biggest problem in charge of the program for the last 2 years. Can't imagine why that didn't solve it.

Someone needs to do a wellness check on the B2G HQ as their sacred cow is going down bigly! 💥

And do a wellness check for the executives and programming staff at the B2G Propaganda Network. 😹

Gonna be some serious wailing and gnashing of teeth goin’ on 😱

How do you think the UM program is going down?
Do you think there will be any formal sanctions worse than the slap on the wrist they got for actual cheating in Football?

They will certainly lose some recruits this year, but they'll find a coach...probably an under the radar Coordinator...and they'll recruit kids in the same way that allowed Moore to recruit 5* athletes in the wake of the cheating scandal and active cover up.

So…. It looks like the gal involved went to the university with the receipts. I don’t know if she initiated it or was responding to questions. Either way, Moore went to her home, kicked the door in, and threatened her (and himself) with a knife. The criminal charges will be substantial. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets charged with attempted murder.

Apparently she was questioned in the summer and denied it and later down the road she changed her mind and told Michigan admin about it.
