Yeah, not a rebel song from their hearts, but it has become an Irish rebel song against the English. My folks, and kin, my cousins, still in Derry, still celebrate U2 and this song. Born out of the Troubles of Derry and Northern Ireland. The walls still fking stand in Ireland.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll see a united Ireland, but I don't think so in my lifetime.... I met Bono, the Edge, and rhe rest at Arizona State in 1987 at Sun Devil Stadium.

Folks were still being murdered back then when I was in college. Think about that.
