Right. I have no idea who will be playing for PSU, or any other team, next year. For example, Grunk hasn’t committed to staying. I read that Iowa State only has 27 players on its roster right now! Obviously, we are better than that but are probably down 30 or so players right now.

I posted this on the other board but roster limits are 105. There’s some loop poles that you can get a little bit over that and if you look at their roster, they had more than that. Either way, 105-42 in the portal and -25 or so that have no eligibility takes you down to around 38 kids. They also still have a recruiting class in which some of those kids will be coming in next week. Obviously not as big of a class since we stole some, but they’re going to have about 50 kids left at minimum.

I think that you’ll also see at least a dozen of those kids out of the 42 come back to the team once the coaching staff gets set as well as the same amount coming from their new head coaches old team. There’s no way they go into spring practice with less than 85 kids.
