DeBoer going for it inside of his own 35 was not a good move. Better see a different team in the second half, or this is over.
 
Remember, Grunk led his team to a last minute TD to take the lead against their defense. Grunk has MOXIE and reminds me a lot of Trace. Keeping him is an IQ test for Campbell. Pass on Brecht. Get a very good young QB that can learn behind Grunk and who is prepared to lead if Grunk gets injured.
Use Brecht $ for gread DL talent in the portal.

Unfortunately, Grunk is gone.
 
Shame about Grunk, and Reynolds for that matter. Was hoping they’d both be here. Smolik would be a nice backup but it appears he’s leaving to.

IU looks great. Not sure how Cignetti did it but they’re for real.

Alabama kinda looks like ???? maybe IU did 3 years ago?
 
Alabama was too one-dimensional on offense this year. I expect that to improve with Grubb being there another year. I'm not convinced Kane Wommack is an SEC defensive coordinator. I think that's why his players were "just there" in the second half, because they didn't believe in what they were being told since it wasn't working. IU is really well-coached. They don't look all that impressive physically IMO, but they don't beat themselves. They get their confidence from their coach. Alabama made too many mistakes to compete with a team playing like this, including going for it in its own territory and the QB getting himself lit up, fumbling, and ultimately being knocked out of the game. If it's true that DeBoer is unhappy down there, this won't help matters. But, he's got a history of improving from one year to the next. Expect him to right the ship.
