Alabama was too one-dimensional on offense this year. I expect that to improve with Grubb being there another year. I'm not convinced Kane Wommack is an SEC defensive coordinator. I think that's why his players were "just there" in the second half, because they didn't believe in what they were being told since it wasn't working. IU is really well-coached. They don't look all that impressive physically IMO, but they don't beat themselves. They get their confidence from their coach. Alabama made too many mistakes to compete with a team playing like this, including going for it in its own territory and the QB getting himself lit up, fumbling, and ultimately being knocked out of the game. If it's true that DeBoer is unhappy down there, this won't help matters. But, he's got a history of improving from one year to the next. Expect him to right the ship.
