He has flipped to Syracuse. Saw it on McAndrew Board. The young man said he felt he committed too soon to PSU.

I don't have any inside information on that. I was only speculating which is why I phrased it as may be and not is. In fact, my only inside information is through a high school coaching staff that has sent several highly rated recruits to PSU in recent years or if I happen to attend a game with them and sit in the recruiting section.

Syracuse pitch: "you are their (PSU) least priority recruit; you are at the top of our (Syracuse) list." Reality: he was our lowest rated non-kicker; he is now #8 in their class.
Staff definitely didn't want to lose him, but he's going to need to drop 30-40 lbs (out of shape bad last few camps). TFrank hates the loss. Said he's the most position flexible OL recruit we had (not counting Brown) and that the others are Tackles or bust.

Maybe he'll reconsider as the season progresses. Syracuse might have offered much more NIL $.

Steele has us as pre-season #1 and Syracuse at #56. That's just too close to call.
