Based on the their game at NW, go with a quick-hitting north-south ground attack. Ducks D is too quick otherwise unless there is some convincing deception. Also, short to medium pass routes are better that those long, just for the sake of it, heaves. Work with the TEs sliding into open seams. [Kotelnicki, Franklin, and Allar will need a strategy/philosophy session during this off week]. On D, pressure a QB who looks to escape the pocket. LBs gotta move without being suckered.

Love that movie ( Hoosiers). —-Pretty much agree, but the biggest thing is for Allar to get out of his own head. He’s way too sporadic for a 3 year starter with the keys to a Ferrari. —We have the personnel/talent to beat Oregon, but they have to play a complete game, which I have not yet seen…..I’m not sure I’ve seen half a game. —Sooner or later it’ll gel for this team… and I’m hoping for the Oregon game, but we’ll see.

DEs have to set the edge on outside runs and CBs and LBers have to be sound in their tackling in space. Oregon has outstanding speed on the outside with their RBs as well as their WRs.

Let's understand that NW lost to Tulane in the first game of the season. Having said that, Oregon looks really good. They are athletic, big, and organized. Their QB looks great. They lost both of their DTs in the draft (1st and 2nd rounders). I think our running game will be paramount as we seek to control the LOS and TOP.
