Pat Kraft did a great job in today's presser

I have a theory. My theory is that Allar isn't hurt all that badly but with a Natty no longer possible, and perhaps even a meaningless bowl game, it is time for Allar to avoid any more injuries and work toward his pro career. It is no longer prudent to put his pro career at risk. Not that the coaches are not talking about a long-term injury or an injury at all. They are simply saying he is out for the rest of the year.

I could be wrong. Just trying to read tea leaves.

Thought same thing was possible. Couple others have said the same.

He walked off with a slight limp. Would probably miss a couple or three games. But are out of contention, will most probably lose at least two more, even a top bowl is out of the question.

He needs to heal up and be ready for combines. He coulda been a first rounder last year but sacrificed a lot to come back. May have lost millions.

I was watching the BWI crew, and they talked about some of the things that Kraft said, plus things they were aware of, that make it sound like Kraft is committed to building fast with NIL and the Portal, and Franklin prefers to do things more as he's done. Sounds like there were some locker room issues due to NIL, as well.

I absolutely think the last part is correct. You know that some people are not happy with the guy on the team with the second most amount of NIL money, Singleton, looking like a Jv high school running back.

"Pay equity theory, developed by J. Stacey Adams, focuses on the fairness of compensation in the workplace, suggesting that employees seek a balance between their contributions (like effort and time) and the rewards they receive (such as pay and recognition). When employees perceive inequity in this exchange, it can lead to dissatisfaction and decreased motivation."
It's real and not to be ignored. Programs have to play this correctly.

similar to socialism where everyone gets the same and those doing most of the work stop doing the work so nothign gets done

Also, where the highest paid players are perceived by others on the team as grossly overpaid and/or underperforming. A coach then playing favorites exacerbates the problem resulting in dysfunction and collapse.

I think favoritism existed since the start of Franklin's time at PSU.
