Pick 'em contest (Week 1)

I may eat these words but I am not sold on tOSU's RBs. CJ Donaldson is a good, hard running but slow RB who xfered in from WVU. Peoples was a highly rated recruit but is just over 200 lbs at 5' 10". He's only had 47 career carries.
Ohio State could lose and I picked against them but admittedly part of it is because I never want to see them win except to boat race the Cheaters this year.

The loss that whatever team gets in this game is not going to matter much. It is like a half loss or a quarter loss unless one of them loses by 30 points which I doubt happens. So I think even if Ohio State loses this game and loses to us they are easily in the playoffs. They could possibly make the playoffs losing to Texas, us and Michigan as long as Michigan is top 20 or 15 when they play them.

This is what I am pretty confident about regarding OSU. They will improve as the season moves on. Sayin will get better. They will play well against us in Columbus and I still contend they beat us. They will make the playoffs and probably be part of the final 4. They may not win it again and I don't think they do but they will not have a disappointing season unless not winning the NC is a disappointment which it kind of is for them, but you know what I mean.

My bad. I forgot the game with the #25 Boise State Broncos tonight.

I did not watch the game. Just looking at the score. A lot of prognosticators had the Broncos in the CFP again. Not looking good for that right now. Last year, they had a close loss to Oregon to hang their hat on. They still have a Notre Dame match-up in about a month, but this makes that a must-win for Boise State to have any kind of chance. It also means Notre Dame has to lose this week or next week, or they're probably going unbeaten.

Notre Dame has probably the easiest schedule to run of any major team

I'm in Omaha this week. Last time I was in Omaha was 2007. USF was #2 and lost to Rutgers on a Thursday night. This may have been their biggest win since. By the way, whatever happened to the poster G in Omaha?

He disappeared before McAndrews board went to on3 I believe, but without the old Rivals board can't verify nor actually remember.
