Re-Imagining the Blue White Game

As a lifelong PSU fan, I don't know of any time in my life when I cared less about PSU football. Perhaps it is just my getting older but I think there are, at least, contributing factors.

First, I don't know a single player on the team. I don't know the QB. I don't know the RBs. I don't know the WRs. Here is who I know on offense:

Offense
Koby Howard.
Anthony Donkoh
Cooper Cousings
Andrew Rapplayea

Defense
Max Granville
Tony Rojas
Daryus Dixon

Ryan Barker

I know some other people's names like Onoh, Aliciene, Goodman, Tatsch. But I don't know much about them.

and, of course, the only coach I know anything about is Smith.

Perhaps that will get better as the season approaches. But my interest in PSU football is about the same as it is about the Browns. I'll watch for the entertainment but am no longer emotionally invested.

Man, I'm agreeing with you a lot today. I'm sure it will change with as the season gets closer.

I worked for a few companies during big mergers. The new people would say "well, this is how we did things at [ ] and it worked great". There were cliques, arrogance, and oneupsmanship (if that's a word).
Right now, I like the new PSU players given the situation because they like and respect PSU football and seem humbled to be part of it. We'll see how things shake out.
