No, he abandoned the right because they took away the tax credit that aided him. You already admitted such. The GOP has always questioned corporate welfare - especially for leftwing causes.

He didn’t abandon the right. He’s still a DOGE-maniac. The GOP promotes corporate welfare - they just aimed it at fossil fuels. The bill is actually very wasteful and will add to our debt, unlike what an actual right-winger would want. But you’ll back it, because it’s Trump.

I have no use for either of Trump or Musk. However, when Trump abandoned the central tenet of right-wing politicking - fiscal responsibility - certain folks decided to abandon the right-wing and stick with Trump ... because "It's all about TRUMP." You would appear to be one of those people. You heart Trump over fiscal responsibility. You admitted it.

It's fun to watch those who embraced Elon when he jumped ship from the Dem side of things, to shun him the moment he disagrees with Trump, despite nothing changing about his political or economic agenda, which he championed while standing side by side with Trump.

Here's the difference between my reasonable views and your trolling - I'm not blaming Trump for Musk's actions, but that's where you need to go to justify yourself. Trump did Trump things. Musk did Musk things. Musk had a certain view, and you guys loved him for it, when he was side by side with Trump. Trump did things Musk didn't like, and Musk still had the same views, but because Musk broke off from Trump, and didn't just say "whatever you say, my liege," Musk is suddenly persona non grata. The ONLY thing that changed was his relationship to Trump. And you shunned him because of it. If you agreed with Musk's views, like you did before, you could still follow Musk, or still support both. But, that's not an option for folks like you.
And then you melted down into full blown troll mode when called on it. Round and round we go.

Now your claim is that you took exception to this, even though it had nothing to do with you, because you never embraced Musk.

A: The folks who embraced Musk, because he was aligned with Trump, have now abandoned him, because he's no longer aligned with Trump, even though Musk's political views haven't changed.

What does this have to do with anything being discussed? It's almost like you don't have the logical capabilities necessary to be a scientist.
We like leaders when they get results in things that align with our best interests. When they shift from that and don't provide reasons, they hear from us. And the more honest and authentic they are, the better. Using your spreadsheet of the mind, compare Trump, Musk, and Biden with regards to work ethic, achievement, and character variables. Trump gets an overall score of 84.3, Musk gets a 78.8, and Biden gets a 28.4. I'll get back to you on Pelosi, Obama, Schiff, Newsom, and AOC.

While you fully ignored that Democrats did exactly what you are accusing Republicans of doing just a few months ago, it is a logical extension to analyze the evidence of how both Republicans and Democrats have responded to Musk deviating from their views. In the case of Republicans, we generally say that we disagree with some of his views and agree with others. In the case of Democrats, you literally had people firebombing Tesla dealerships.
We are different in that way. I can disagree with some or all of your views and not attack you. Many liberals disagree with someone's views and have to attack them, in many cases physically. In the example given, many on your side resorted to domestic terrorism to attack Musk when he aligned with Trump.
