Some people still having problems registering

IA, you're probably up to your neck right now and may already know this, but there are a few excellent contributors from the Rivals board still experiencing hiccups trying to get registered here. Bdgan is one but I think there may be some others.

When you get a chance could you assist them?

Thanks...and again, thanks for the amazing accomplishment of getting this new board created. It's obviously early days but I think off to a pretty decent start.

Meanwhile, the Rivals board mysteriously lives on. Gosh knows when they'll pull the plug but my guess is it will be abrupt when it happens.

Interesting. I just posted there, "Why aren't democrats proud to be Americans?" Last night when I got home I gave it a shot and got an error message.

I'm guessing there is still more to sync / extract prior to pulling the plug for good.

Can't even find the page since HVI went over to On3.

Bdgan shows as a valid user. He can try the forgot password link if he's unable to get in. I I had some issues with e-mail setup when I first launched so the confirmation e-mails weren't getting sent. I'll probably send an e-mail to everyone to see if we have anyone else having issues. If you know of anyone else having issues they can email me at [email protected].

I'm curious how you are getting to the Rivals board? I used either bwi.rivals.com or pennstate.rivals.com and both now go to on3. DNS changes can take a while to propagate, so it could be something where it hasn't changed for you. I don't think Rivals is going away completely, but they are changing its focus to high school and recruiting. The old site is probably still there right now.

For the current events board, which appears to also remain functional, it's https://pennstate.forums.rivals.com/forums/current-events-board.10/

I may chime in there on occasion as long as it stays up, but I'm already thinking of this place as the go-to board.
