Just saw where former Altoona and South Carolina QB legend Steve Taneyhill died at 52 of cancer. Probably a little too flamboyant for Penn State under Joe with his Taneytail and exuberance. Coincidentally, we got Wally Richardson from Sumter, SC (my Mom's hometown), about an hour east of Columbia, around the same time. I met Taneyhill's dad, Art, when he was taking a class at PSU, and I worked in a computer lab he was using and needed help with something. Seemed like a nice guy.
